Hi there! My name is Alex. I’m a twenty-something college student. I love REAL food. I define real food as food that is minimally processed, ethically grown and produced, organic, and local to my region. I think that food should nourish your mind and your spirit and should also be produced in a way that supports the well-being of the planet and the growers who tend to the land. I know that there are many social justice issues about food access and I am grateful for the food I am able to cook and eat every day. I’m just one morsel in the greater food movement!

When I’m not studying for my full-time school load or visiting with family, other hobbies I enjoy are long distance running, photography, gardening, crafting, and hanging out with my eclectic group of activist/musician/artist/environmentalist/anthropologist friends.
